Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating, especially during my late-night escapades, the facilities left much to be desired. The spa area was cramped and outdated, and the shower in my room was lukewarm at best. Despite these drawbacks, I loved the friendliness of the staff and their attempts to make my stay enjoyable.
I had quite a mixed experience at the hotel. On one hand, the staff was polite and helpful, and I found the breakfast options to be quite good. On the other hand, my stay was disrupted by noise from other guests and issues with the radiator in my room. Overall, it’s a place I might return to after the refurb, but my last stay left me feeling somewhat unsettled.
We recently had a wonderful time at the Carlton Park Hotel, enjoying a festive lunch that was well worth it. The food was delicious and attractively presented. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome, although the loud music was a bit overwhelming for us during the lunch event. Overall, it was great value for money, but I wish the dining environment had been less noisy.
I recently attended a themed event at the hotel, which unfortunately turned out to be a disappointing experience. While the room I stayed in was clean and well-presented, the overall management of the event left a lot to be desired. There were issues with uninvited guests causing disruptions, which diminished what I had hoped would be a special occasion. However, the staff did show their professionalism in attempting to manage the situation but needed more support to handle the crowd effectively.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel while on my way to London. The rooms were quite comfortable and clean, although a bit dated, which is understandable for an established place. Breakfasts were fantastic with plenty of options, and the pool area was pleasantly quiet. The only downside was the limited dining options some nights, especially during events. Overall, it was great value for money.
